Education and Training Introduction

In order to enhance the communication efficiency among colleagues in conversations and organizational dialogues, we specially invited Teacher Zhou Zhenyu to the company to conduct an educational training course on "DISC Personality Traits and Communication Applications."

In this course, Teacher Zhou Zhenyu will teach you how to use DISC to systematically identify the personality traits of communication targets and communicate in ways that are more easily received by the target, achieving the goal of effective communication.

Teacher Zhou Zhenyu will use real-life examples to explain different human behaviors and use the framework of DISC to formulate responses to various personality types. After completing the course, you will be able to effectively improve your communication skills and communication efficiency within the organization.

When I first saw that it was a course related to personality and communication, I thought it would be quite an interesting journey. The lecturer's content is rich, from explanations to group discussions and even simple activities; each process allows oneself and colleagues to understand each other better. I particularly enjoy listening to the lecturer's stories about friends and family based on different personalities. Through these stories, I gained a deeper impression of DISC personalities. I also enjoyed the activities when everyone was grouped according to their personality types. It made the differences in each group's characteristics more obvious, and some traits stood out more, which was fun. But what I find most special about DISC is that unlike zodiac signs or Chinese zodiacs, which are determined at birth, these four personalities coexist. Once we learn, we can train ourselves to adjust in different situations or circumstances, which is very helpful for both life and work. Finally, I am very grateful to the company for arranging such a wonderful course, and I look forward to future classes!

The company dedicated an entire day to a practical course on communication between people.

First, it was divided into four categories based on different personality traits, which helped understand what communication conflicts might occur between people of different personalities.

During the course, the instructor provided numerous examples to help us deepen our understanding, allowing members of different categories to better understand themselves (or the performance of people in other categories) according to different situations. Overall, this course helped me to have a better concept of facing people with different personality types and to achieve more efficient communication through different approaches.

I found the DISC course very helpful. Although I didn't attend last year, I was fortunate enough to take the test. At that time, I was still quite inexperienced. After a year of experience, although the main traits haven't changed, there have been noticeable changes in the later traits. The process was quite interesting; based on the first impressions or words when meeting for the first time, you can judge the main personality of the other person at work, which helps in the next steps. It improves the quality of communication and makes work more efficient. The instructor was also very humorous and witty, truly an expert in communication. He could clearly demonstrate the characteristics of each personality. I also thank the ODs for planning this workshop, from which I gained a lot.

I think DISC is a tool that can quickly understand a person's personality traits in a short period of time. By identifying and understanding the behavioral and thinking differences between different personality types, DISC can establish more effective communication and cooperation relationships for individuals and teams.

The lecturer mentioned that to establish connections with people of different personalities, we need to use communication methods that they can understand. This means that we need to understand and adapt to the communication styles, preferences, and needs of others in order to better understand and support each other. I have encountered DISC ten years ago, but I think there are still difficulties in actual application because everyone has blind spots and weaknesses in their personality development. Faced with the challenges of dealing with certain personality types, communication may become stressful and uncomfortable. I believe that cultivating self-awareness and observing and understanding one's own emotions, reactions, and behaviors through mindfulness are beneficial. Mindfulness allows us to better understand our emotions and thoughts and be more confident and calm when communicating with others.

In addition to DISC and mindfulness, I think it is also important to have a deep understanding of oneself. CF16 can also help us understand our personality traits, strengths, and challenges. This self-awareness can help us better understand our behavioral patterns and seek opportunities for improvement and growth.

I believe that the combination of DISC, mindfulness, and self-awareness can help us better understand and deal with people of different personality types, establish better communication and cooperation relationships, and provide powerful support for personal and team development, enabling us to achieve goals more effectively in interpersonal communication.

I have taken many personality trait tests online, but this is the first time I have been analyzed in such detail. The categorization of DISC traits is simple but summarizes the general trends of the public, including all colleagues in the company. In addition to understanding my own strengths and weaknesses, I also understand the personalities of my colleagues. In the future, when cooperating, I will be clearer on how to communicate with colleagues who have similar or different personalities, reducing misunderstandings and even increasing efficiency. Such trait analysis can also be applied to daily interpersonal interactions, which I find very useful!!!
